These were mostly medium sized (10-20 metres) sauropods, with primitive traces, such as fingers and long toes
on their feet, instead of the elephant looking feet on more advanced sauropods.
Shunosaurus is known to have a tail club, and when a club was found on Omeisaurus
as well, Shunosaurus got included into the "Euhelopids" (Omeisaurus et al). But the club
was seemingly the only resemblance between them, and when the club of Omeisaurus turned out
to belong to another dinosaur (probably large Shunosaurus) Shunosaurus was "tossed" out
of "Euhelopidae".
